Plugged-In Home helps regular people pick smart home gear that is actually worth the money, and set it up without a headache.
What we do
We compare smart plugs, lights, cameras, doorbells, speakers, locks, thermostats and robot vacuums on the things that matter day to day: how easy they are to set up, whether they work with the phone and voice assistant you already use, what they really cost once subscriptions are added, and what owners complain about after a few months.
What we don’t do
We don’t take payment to include a product, and we don’t let commissions decide the order of our picks. We don’t invent test results, and we don’t test products hands-on. Every guide says where our view comes from: maker specs, published reviews and owner feedback.
