Give each family member a fingerprint, and give guests or cleaners a temporary PIN that expires.
Where it falls short
The camera is mounted at lock height with a narrower vertical view, so it can miss packages left on the ground.
The battery needs charging every so often, and you’ll want a routine for that. Because it replaces the whole deadbolt, it’s harder for renters to undo; a retrofit lock that keeps your existing key is better if you rent. See our renters’ guide.
