The features that actually matter
Robot vacuum spec sheets are full of big numbers, but three features decide whether you’ll love it or leave it in a cupboard:

- A self-emptying dock, so you empty a bag every month or two instead of a bin every day.
- Obstacle avoidance with a camera, if your floors aren’t always clear.

The X10 Pro Omni is a flagship-style robot for a mid-range price. Its dock empties the dustbin, washes the mop pads, dries them with warm air and refills water. Dual spinning mops lift 12 mm on carpet, and an RGB camera recognizes more than 100 types of obstacle, including pet waste.
Vacuum Wars measured its suction below the 8,000 Pa headline figure, and the dock washes mops with cold water. Neither is a deal-breaker at this price, but it’s worth knowing.
